Kiriban: 20000

I'm sure some of you have noticed the poll I put up a few days ago and I've finally (sort of) ironed out what I plan to do. Like I've previously mentionned, I plan to do something similar to ~Alasse-Tasartir did here: [link] because I thought it was such a great idea. To sum it up: based on the poll I posted I'm going to pick 5 or so fandoms and make a set of 10 posters, bookmarks or postcards (still undecided on this point) and 4 special ones.

So how to you snag yourself some? The 10 people to send me a screenshot of the kiriban (I'll take the 10 closest shots) will get the full set of 14 posters/bookmarks/postcards including the 4 special ones. At that point I'll post a journal on the topic and the first 20 to reply to that journal (who weren't one of the first 10) will get the set of 10.

If I decide to do posters I will likely send the winners a full resolution of the posters so you can print them off on your own. Bookmarks and postcards are more mail-able so I may actually print them off all nice and send them to you in the mail (if the winners are cool with giving me mailing info - if not, I'll do the same as I would for the posters).

And since I have a sneaking suspicion the kiriban will get here before I get the set done (especially with impending finals and the fact I still owe ~Sora-na a plushie) I'm hoping the winners will be patient with me.

Secret Santa Update:

I want to send a huge thanks to everyone who's entered this year's secret santa so far! It's looking to be a lot of fun! For anyone still interested, it's not too late - check out the rules below for details. In the realm of updates 2 things I wanted to mention:

1. First is a major thanks to who has graciously offered to be the keeper of the fuzzy santa hat. Essentially she'll be randomly assigning the names so unlike last year, I won't know who has whom either. You can still direct any questions at me but if I can't answer them or you need someone to contact your assigned person for you, I'll be forwarding it to her.

2. Second: A reminder to those who haven't submitted your lists yet (I'm looking at you taisa... lol and the other dozen of you for whom I don't have a list). You have 6 days to get that into me or else your secret santa will get the sole suggestion to draw you something pink and so disgustingly cute it will give you a toothache. In other words: please get me your lists sooner rather than later.

3. I hope that everyone sort of considered their other time commitments around the holidays when entering but if something comes up (we all know life loves to throw curve balls) and you won't be able to do your picture - please let me know as soon as you can. I really really don't want to get 10 notes on the 23rd. On that note, if there's anyone willing to be a backup artist and might have time to do 2 pictures, should above scenario occur, please let me know. I want to make sure everyone gets something this year - even if I have to draw all the missing ones myself.

Secret Santa
It's that time of year again! With Halloween behind us, Christmas is just around the corner and while the stores will undoubtably be breaking out the carols, it's time to start a Secret Santa! I'm going to make some minor adjustments to last year's rules but the basic premise will be the same.

2. 7. 12. 17. 22. 27.
3. 8. 13. 18. 23. 28.
4. 9. 14. 19. 24.
5. 10. 15. 20. 25.


Rules

1.Traditional Secret Santa set up: everyone who wants to participate enters. The names are then all tossed into a fuzzy santa hat and everyone is randomly assigned another participant and have to draw something off their wish list.

2.Wish lists are totally open provided they don't include anything that someone might be uncomfortable drawing. No OVERT shonen-ai/yaoi (innocent is okay), gore, that sort of thing.

3.When entering - please post in your comment a list of things you would like drawn, try to include a variety of options, and if you include OCs please give a reference. Rather than post wish list journals, the wish list and references will be sent with the note assigning who you're drawing for.

4.The deadline for entering is November 25th - thats when the draw will be done, that gives you about a month to draw the picture, which will hopefully be enough.

5.Please hold onto the picture and post it as close to Christmas as you can. Please send me a note once you've posted it so I can compile a list for easy access.

6. The deadline for submission is Christmas!
